1. Who We Are

ZikQuote is a consumer-facing quote request, project estimate, marketing, and lead-generation platform. We help consumers submit information about home improvement, installation, maintenance, repair, remodeling, and related home-service projects, and we may connect, route, transfer, share, license, or sell consumer information to independent third parties, including home-service companies, contractors, installers, technicians, lead purchasers, call centers, marketing partners, affiliates, and other commercial partners.

ZikQuote is not a contractor, installer, repair company, home-improvement company, construction company, insurance company, lender, broker, agent, or professional adviser. Any services, quotes, inspections, estimates, appointments, agreements, work, or payments involving a third party are solely between you and that third party.

ZikQuote is not a consumer reporting agency, and the Services and information we provide are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Neither ZikQuote nor a user may use the Services to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or another purpose governed by consumer-reporting law.

Any estimate, instant estimate, quote, instant quote, project range, calculator result, or pricing information we provide is a broad, preliminary range for informational purposes only. It is not an actual contractor quote, bid, offer, contract, guarantee, or promise of the amount you will pay or that a contractor or company will quote or charge. We try to make these ranges as useful and accurate as reasonably possible using the information you provide, available market data, regional pricing information, assumptions, and automated calculations. Nevertheless, the underlying information may be incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or inapplicable to your property, and the range may be mistaken, inaccurate, or materially different from actual pricing. Only a contractor's inspection and separate written agreement determine the work and amount you may actually pay. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZikQuote is not liable for differences between an estimate or instant quote shown through the Services and any actual quote, cost, charge, work scope, or service outcome. 8. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, web beacons, SDKs, scripts, server logs, and similar technologies to:

• Attribute leads to advertising campaigns

These technologies may collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, cookie IDs, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring URLs, approximate location, timestamps, campaign parameters, and interaction data.

Some of these technologies may be operated by third parties, including advertising networks, analytics providers, social media platforms, and data partners. Their processing may be governed by their own privacy policies.

You can control some cookies through browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

We honor qualifying Global Privacy Control signals and the browser opt-out control on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page by suppressing optional advertising and analytics tags for that browser. Ordinary “Do Not Track” settings are not treated as an opt-out unless they transmit a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.

9. TCPA Consent, Electronic Signature, and Communication Records

When you affirmatively accept the contact-consent disclosure and submit a quote form, your action constitutes your electronic signature and written instruction authorizing ZikQuote and participating third parties that receive your information through the Services to contact you as described in that disclosure.

Subject to applicable law, you consent to receive communications by:

• Live agent call
• Autodialed call
• Call using automated or AI-assisted dialing technology
• Artificial-voice or prerecorded call, where permitted by law
• SMS/MMS text message
• Email
• Mail
• Other electronic communication

These communications may be sent by ZikQuote or by participating third parties, including contractors, home-service providers, lead buyers, lead brokers, call centers, marketing partners, affiliates, downstream buyers or recipients, or service providers that receive your information directly or through another recipient.

ZikQuote's form consent does not authorize an independent seller to deliver an artificial-voice or prerecorded telemarketing message where the law requires that seller to obtain its own seller-specific agreement directly from you. Each caller is responsible for any additional consent required for the technology and message it uses.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply.

You may revoke consent through any legally reasonable method, including telling a caller, replying STOP to text messages, using an available email unsubscribe link, or contacting us at hello@zikquote.com or 401-314-3394. We and each sender must honor revocation as soon as practicable and within the period required by law. Revoking consent from one independent sender may not revoke consent from every other sender, so you may need to contact them separately.

We may retain records associated with your consent, electronic signature, form submission, communications, and opt-out requests, including:

We retain these records for compliance, operational, evidentiary, dispute-resolution, security, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes.

10. Third-Party Practices

Third parties that receive your information may use it to contact you, provide quotes, schedule appointments, market services, evaluate your project, fulfill services, conduct analytics, or for their own lawful business purposes.

Once your information is disclosed to a third party, that third party may process your information under its own privacy policy and legal obligations. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, communications, representations, pricing, services, licensing, insurance, workmanship, or other practices of independent third parties, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

You should review the privacy policies and terms of any third party you communicate with or hire.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

• Operating the Services
• Processing quote requests
• Routing, selling, licensing, or validating leads
• Maintaining consent records
• Supporting legal compliance
• Responding to disputes
• Preventing fraud and abuse
• Enforcing agreements
• Maintaining security

• Supporting tax, accounting, insurance, and corporate records
• Complying with legal obligations

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the purpose of processing, legal requirements, business needs, risk, dispute status, and whether the information is needed for compliance or evidentiary purposes.

We may retain consent logs, submission metadata, call/text/email records, IP address, user agent, page URL, referrer data, timestamps, and related lead-routing records for extended periods where reasonably necessary to prove consent, defend claims, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or comply with law.

Our retention criteria by category are: contact, project, and lead-routing records are kept while a request remains active and afterward for the period reasonably needed for support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, and regulatory obligations; consent, do-not-call, opt-out, script/disclosure, and communication records are generally retained for at least five years from creation or last use where telemarketing recordkeeping rules apply; device, cookie, advertising, and analytics data are retained under our or the relevant provider's settings for the period needed for attribution, security, and measurement; and legal hold, complaint, or dispute records are retained until the matter and applicable limitation periods end. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary, subject to legal exceptions and backup cycles.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, logging, vendor controls, monitoring, and security review.

However, no website, database, system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services and submit information at your own risk.

13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws. These rights may include the right to:

Please include enough information for us to verify and process your request, such as your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and the nature of your request. We may request additional information to verify your identity or locate your records.

We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including where:

• We cannot verify your identity
• The request is fraudulent, abusive, excessive, or infeasible
• Retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, transactional, or compliance purposes
• Deletion would prevent us from completing a service you requested
• The information is subject to a legal exemption
• The information is needed to exercise or defend legal claims

We generally respond within 45 days, subject to a legally permitted extension. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line Privacy Appeal. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted; we may require proof of authority and may verify the consumer directly when allowed.

14. Opt-Out of Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising

You may use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to review available choices and submit a request.

Sale/share opt-outs do not require identity verification, although we may request the minimum information needed to identify the records to which a request should apply.

We treat a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt the signaling browser or device out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Enable the signal on each browser or device you use.

An opt-out may not stop all disclosures. For example, we may still disclose information to service providers, process information to complete a transaction you requested, maintain legal records, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or comply with law.

15. California Privacy Notice

This section applies to California residents where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to us.

16. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and other states may have privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws, depending on applicability thresholds, exemptions, and our processing activities.

Where a state privacy law applies, we will process applicable requests as required by that law.

17. Children and Minors

The Services are intended only for adults age 18 or older and are not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 18 or process it for targeted advertising.

18. International Users

The Services are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

Do not use the Services if doing so would violate the laws of your jurisdiction.

19. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals. We may not respond to Do Not Track signals unless required by law.

This is different from Global Privacy Control. As described above, we honor qualifying Global Privacy Control signals as browser-level requests to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising.

20. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Unless otherwise stated, changes are effective when posted.

Your continued use of the Services after a revised Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy.
